Repeat this big word after me "prepositions."
What in the world is a preposition? This big word actually describes lots of little words that hook nouns to the rest of the sentence.
These prepositions show where the ant is, compared to the watermelon.

Put your finger on the ant above and say "above."

Touch the ant on the watermelon and say "on."

Where is the ant? In the watermelon. Find him and say "in."

There is one more preposition, touch the ant below the watermelon and say “below."
