Today you will write a first draft paragraph. Your paragraph will be about one or two things that you do to have fun with your family. Take a look at the list from our previous lesson of things that you like to do for fun with your family. Choose one or two things that you want to write more about.
When you write more, you write details. Details provide more information.
For example:
Thomas likes to play checkers with his family on Friday nights.
His paragraph will include details about playing checkers.
Details may include:
- A special name for game night
- How to play checkers
- Why checkers is fun
You can type or write your first draft. Save it in a safe place; we'll be revising it tomorrow.
