To ask what someone is like, you need the verb être.

You can describe what someone looks like physically, like their height or eye and hair color.
Il est grand. He is tall.
Elle est petite. She is short.
Il a les cheveux bruns. He has brown hair.
Elle a les cheveux blonds. She has blond hair.
Ils ont les yeux bleus. They have blue eyes.
Elle est jeune et musclée. She is young and muscular.
You can also describe someone’s personality.
Elle est jeune, contente, et chic. She is young, happy, and fashionable.
Elles sont comiques et dynamiques. They are funny and entertaining.
Il est actif et travailleur. He is active and hard working.
