Mama sets rules and requirements that Skye finds restrictive. Gram is Skye’s ally and seems to wish that Mama would lighten up on Skye.
In Scene 2, Arwen and Callen appear out of nowhere in their old-fashioned clothes―literally jumping from the bushes and yelling SURPRISE! They seem unrelated to the play’s action so far, yet something is vaguely familiar about their interactions with each other. These two questions might help you figure it out.
