If you want to talk about going somewhere, such as to a concert or a game, you need to be able to use the irregular verb aller. Like faire, aller must be memorized since it is irregular. Review the conjugation in the table.

Just like in English, you go to a place in French. This means you need to use the preposition à and any contractions it might make. Let’s look at some examples.
