Project: Make your Gears

1. Make cardboard gears. You will need the following materials:

Cardboard - it can be thick or thin cardboard
Pen
Scissors strong enough to cut the cardboard

STEPS FOR MAKING GEARS

a. Download and print this gear template.

b. Cut out each template gear and using a pen or pencil trace the gears onto a piece of cardboard.

c. Cut out each gear using a pair of scissors.

d. Label the large gear 'Gear A', the medium gear 'Gear B', and the small gear 'Gear C'.

Now that you have learned about gears, complete and submit the project on the following 2 slides. You will make your gears here and use themon the next slide.
