Build a boat out of 4 x 4 inch piece of aluminum foil and see how many pennies your boat can hold.
- Form the aluminium foil into a boat shape.
- Place it in a bowl of water and be sure it floats.
- Gently place pennies (one at a time) into your boat. Count the number of pennies it will hold before it sinks
- Then reshape your boat to see if you can get it to hold more pennies than your first try. Remember to be gentle and dry your boat out each time.
