While grocery shopping, Ms. Jackson picked up a few items she needed for the week:
- 227-gram jar of tomato sauce
- 305-gram can of cream of chicken soup
- 2.3-kilogram bag of sugar
- 300 grams of sliced meat from the deli
- 1.5-kilogram bag of flour
What is the total weight of the items in grams?

can of cream of chicken soup: 305 grams
bag of sugar: 2.3 x 1000 = 2,300 grams
