Action: Hopping and jumping are very similar. Both are a way to propel the body into the air. Jumping for height is when you try to jump as high as you can.
Technique:
Stand with your heels slightly off the ground.
To get power to jump high or far, you will need to bend down and swing your arms back.
Throw your arms forward and push your body into the air with your legs.
For a smaller jump, you can just use your legs to push your body into the air.
