Summer House

Continue caring for a plant.

Goal:

Goal:

Three Sunflowers

If it is warm enough, you could plant a summer “house” with plants like sunflowers or scarlet runner beans.

For a sunflower house, simply plant a circle of tall sunflowers. Leave enough space for you to wiggle into the middle of the circle once the sunflowers have grown.

For a scarlet runner bean house, tie three stakes together on one end, and place them on the ground like a tripod. Make sure the space inside the tripod is big enough for you. Push the stakes several inches into the ground for sturdiness, and plant scarlet runner beans in a circle around the tripod.

Keep the “house” well-watered, and by the time you are deep into summer, you should have a special garden hiding place!
