You have learned that a baby’s readiness to eat solid foods, even soft ones, depends on the growth and development of its teeth, tongue, throat muscles, mouth, and lips. For this week’s activity, you will investigate the current guidelines for introducing solid foods to babies. You will also explore one of the following topics:

1) How feeding guidelines have changed over time, or
2) How feeding guidelines differ between cultures.
