What is Prose Cloze? How can I use one in a lesson?

The Prose Close interactive is a fill-in-the-blank game that allows students to select up to two answers to complete a sentence, phrase, or equation based on a question prompt and image. This combines the rigor of fill-in-the-blank questions with the support of limited answer choices to help students refine complex concepts at the secondary level.

Use Prose Cloze to help learners practice new vocabulary, tease apart similar words, or solve equations. Prose Cloze is especially well-suited for Language Arts, especially foreign language practice.

Prose Cloze is available in both audio and non-audio formats.
