Objectives
Students will:
- Identify the parts of an argument.
- Analyze the structure of a literary analysis essay, explaining the role of particular passages in supporting an analytical claim.
- Identify reasons in support of an analytical claim.
- Identify textual evidence in support of an analytical argument/claim.
- Draft an essay that argues for a specific interpretation or analysis of a work of literature.
