Just as there are u to ue stem-changing verbs, like jugar, there are also o to ue stem-changers, too. The verbs from this lesson all have an o to ue stem change.
Throughout this course, you have been learning many different verbs. Each one is important. Increasing your verb knowledge and vocabulary will increase the topics about which you can speak. Look carefully at the verbs on your vocabulary list. Notice that each is followed by ue. Whenever you see ue or another set of letters after a verb, it indicates the verb is a stem-changing verb.
