To really and truly understand how to work with unknown figures, it's best to imagine some problems or scenarios of your own and then analyze them for area and density. In this activity, you'll design some interesting swimming pools, creating "unknown" figures using known figures. Then, you'll assess the area of each figure and show how different contexts can lead to different answers.
