First, explore your writing for areas that seem dull or hard to picture. Ask yourself how you could add brief but meaningful bits of dialogue or how you could change general or ambiguous language into specific and sensory-packed language.
Once you revise your draft, indicate the changes you made in boldface text. Save the file with the word REVISION as part of the file name.
