Whether accomplishing your goal is going to take days, weeks, months, or years, your journey to success will happen one day at a time. By creating a weekly schedule, you establish a plan for your time that leads you to your goals.
Before you create a schedule, you will identify the tasks you must complete next week.
To prompt your thinking about the kinds of things you might include on your list, look at the list of activities included in the Abigail’s time log.

Instructions:
1. Go now to your 2.4 Weekly Priorities List form, and list all of the jobs, tasks, projects, and stuff you need or want to accomplish for the next week. Include sleep, meals, exercise, classes, activities and any other items that you can anticipate.
2. When your list is complete, determine which items absolutely must be done (“A” task), which should be done (“B” task), and which could never be done (“C” task) without adversely affecting you. Assigning a priority to each task will take a little practice. Don’t be afraid to change priorities as you work.
3. Finally assign deadlines for each item. Some deadlines will be hard and fast (e.g., test dates, sports practice, club meetings); others will be arbitrary (e.g., clean my room, call a friend).
When you complete this form, print a copy and save it electronically. You will use this form to complete the next activity in this lesson. Click here to open your 2.4 Weekly Priorities List form, and click here to open your activity rubric.
