Having more knowledge of search engine optimization, you can see how some of your favorite websites keep these techniques in mind when designing their pages. And maybe some of them miss out on some opportunities! Well, that's exactly what you're going to look into for this assignment.

If you have the worksheet "Taking a Closer Look" from an earlier lesson, feel free to use the websites you had chosen for that activity. You'll also likely see how things you like or dislike about a website often correspond with how well-designed (or not) a site is, and how those factors connect to SEO. If you do not have that worksheet, no problem. Feel free to just find three websites you visit regularly.

The purpose of this assignment will be to look at these websites and note what measures the websites took to optimize for search engines, and suggest things these sites could do to improve their SEO. As a tip, it may be a good idea to not choose the most popular websites ever or websites that serve a singular purpose (like a video sharing website, or a search engine) as they'll likely be difficult to evaluate.
