In addition to solving problems with tessellations, you should also be able to design and create your own. Draw a tessellation and apply these rules:
- Use regular polygons. Some easy-to-use regular polygons are equilateral triangles, squares, and regular hexagons. You can use one or several polygons as long as they're regular.
- Your tessellation can be periodic or aperiodic. Just make sure you have no gaps and no overlaps.
- Draw your tessellation on graph paper, which you can access by clicking the link below.
