It’s harvest time—what will come to fruition in Esperanza’s life as the novel ends?

Have you ever heard the phrase “to come to fruition”? You can probably see the familiar word fruit in the word fruition. Projects and goals come to fruition when, just as fruit slowly ripens and is finally ready for harvest, they are finished or completed.
