There are 50 french fries on Tara's plate. She shares 10 fries with her sister Amy. How many french fries will Tara get to eat?

If you put 50 counters on the triangle and 10 counters on the square to represent the number of french fries that Tara shared, you should have 40 counters left to go on the circle. Therefore, Tara could eat 40 french fries.
