Goal:
The Hopi people preferred to live in pueblos, or cities. They
built permanent homes, often multileveled structures made of wood and clay.
The Hopi's homes had flat roofs and white walls, to block out the sun and keep them cool.
The hot and dry weather in the Southwest allowed the Hopi to settle their cities and live peacefully in one area.
