Story Time

In previous lessons, you completed many prewriting activities that helped you think of ideas for your own short story. For this lesson, you will actually write the story, using the notes you made on prewriting worksheets. Before you begin writing, make sure that you have all of these worksheets nearby:

	Ideas for Your Short Story
	Build Your Setting
	Develop Your Characters
	Writing Dialogue
	Choose Your Narrator
	Who's Your Narrator?

Read all of the ideas you have written on these worksheets. Many of them may not make it into the first draft of your story, and that's just fine! You're this story's writer, so you get to decide which ideas to use and which ideas to save for another story.
