A noun is a person, place, or thing.
Sometimes, you add an -s to the end of a noun to show there is more than one.
Example: one dog; three dogs
Sometimes, you add -es to the end of the noun to show there is more than one.
You add -es when the noun ends in s, ch, sh, or x.
