Sitting Bull was of the Sioux tribe in the Great Plains region. He lived from 1831 to 1890.

Sitting Bull was a famous Sioux chief who led his people in the Battle of Little Big Horn in June of 1876. They fought against the United States Army led by Colonel George Custer. They were fighting for their land in the Great Plains region. Sitting Bull and his tribe won the battle and defeated the army.
