Spelling Words

Our spelling words this week end in the -le letter combination. Remember, using syllables to chunk our words can help us spell and read the words. The last syllable often ends in a consonant followed by -le. Another tip is to look for smaller words in the word. Then, add the -le.

pickle- pick + le
handle- hand + le
