audio buttonIt is time to start making a story you have already written even better! One way to do this is called "peer editing." What does "peer editing" mean? That is when a friend reads a story you have written, and gives you ideas on how to make your story even better.

audio buttonAll you need to do is find a sloppy copy of a story you have written. Then, ask a friend to read your story. Ask your friend to look for these things as he or she reads your story:

  • Does your story make sense?
  • Are there describing words for your nouns and verbs?
  • Are there words that tell where, when, why, or how?
  • Did you use interesting words to replace "blah" words?
