Yesterday, we looked at the story element of setting. We talked about how stories could take place in the past, present, or future. The setting is usually introduced in the beginning of a story. Today, we will look at story elements that happen at the end of a story. We will focus on falling actions and resolution. Falling actions are the events that occur leading up to a solution at the end of a story. The resolution is how the problem is solved. Look at the example of falling actions and resolution below. Then, reread our story, Maria's Goodbye," before completing your worksheet. Click on the Activity button to download your worksheet on falling actions and resolution. When you have finished, submit it to your teacher.
