Compass Rose
Look at the compass rose on the map.
Goal:

On a map, the North arrow always points to the North Pole. The South arrow always points toward the South Pole.
Draw a compass rose and label all four directions. Add NE, NW, SE & SW. If you want to add the others, you certainly may!
Have some fun with it! Memorize the directions. Recite them in order, clockwise:
N, NNE, NE, ENE, E.
E, ESE, SE, SSE, S.
SSW, SW, WSW, W.
WNW, NW, NNW, N.
See how fast you can recite it!
Then recite it the other way - counter clockwise!
(You can look at the compass rose while you are first memorizing!)
