How do you record yourself speaking?

You will be required to speak in class often. When you are asked to do this, you will see this:

When recording yourself, you have a couple of options. You can try one of the methods described below for your device. All four methods described below use built-in (native) software for your operating system. Click on the icon for your operating system for directions on using that software.

Now that you've seen how to do it, give it a try! Select the recording option that works for you and record yourself speaking. Try saying your name and a little bit about yourself. You could answer these questions:

What is your name?
What is your favorite color?
Where do you live?

Then listen to it when you are finished.
