Module Overview:

In this module, students will describe the characteristics of the Arctic and Antarctica, and describe the types of animal be found there. Students will contrast this by describing what defines a desert and noticing animal adaptations needed to live in an arid climate. Hands-on activities include drawing animals adapting to the types of climates and identifying which climate animals live in.
