Module 24-Science KB - Course Guide

Module Overview:

In this module, students will identify small objects by feeling them, identify objects using a bag game, and identify objects by playing a shaker game.

Module Materials:

Small items such as a pine cone, a cotton ball, an eraser, a stone, a sponge, a screw, a feather, a shell, a paper clip, and a coin
A bag
5-10 small plastic containers or cans that you can’t see through
Small items such as seeds, grains, or other items that will make sounds when shaken

1 Properties of Matter Discuss with your student how their five senses help them identify properties of matter and then have them draw in their science notebook examples of properties they can identify using their five senses.
