Module 17: The Paiute Nation- Social Studies 3 - Course Guide


Module Overview:

In this module, students will learn to synthesize knowledge of human-environment interaction with new information about the Paiute nation, apply concepts of the beliefs and customs of the Paiute people that guided their lives, and describe the economy and systems of government of the Paiute people. They will identify the elements of folklore traditions of the Paiute people, identify the roles of conflict and cooperation in the interactions between the Paiute peoples and European settlers, and define primary and secondary sources.
