Module Overview:

In this module, students will learn to make observations about how science and technology have affected communication over time, make observations about how science and technology have affected transportation over time, and make observations about how science and technology have affected recreation over time.

1 Communication: Past and Present After completing this lesson, ask your student to explain how communication has changed, if possible, have them talk to a grandparent or older relative to learn more about how they used to communicate in comparison to how people communicate today.
2 Transportation: Past and Present After completing this lesson, ask your student to explain what they learned about transportation in the past and how it has changed today.
3 Recreation: Past and Present After completing this lesson, ask your student to explain what they learned about recreation in the past and how it has changed today. If possible have them talk to a grandparent or other elderly adult to learn more about what they did for recreation when they were younger.

When a student starts a lesson ask them questions to check for prior knowledge and understanding and to review concepts being taught. At the end of the lesson ask the questions again to see if their answer changes.
