Module 9: My World- Social Studies 2 - Course Guide
Module Overview:
In this module, students will learn to synthesize information about other countries’ laws. They will make observations about how countries work together to end conflict, make compromises, and keep the peace and identify unique characteristics and significance of cultural celebrations of Cinco de Mayo, Juneteenth, Diwali, Hanukkah, and Chinese New Year. Students will understand the United Kingdom’s and China’s systems of government and compare them to each other and to the United States’ system.
