1 20.1 Letter Vv The new letter this week is the letter Vv. Spend time this week working your learner on the proper pronunciation of Vv and connecting this sound type to the other fricatives on the Sound Wall. Encourage your learner to use the colored squares to learn the phonemes in the new spelling words and Words of the Week to create a hands-on learning day.
2 20.2 Letter Vv Your learner will continue to practice the new letter Vv. Students will also learn about isolating, blending, and segmenting sounds in words. Encourage your learner to practice making connections before listening to the Module Story today.

Use the colored squares along with the lesson to show the phonemes. Point to the last colored square to prompt your learner to identify the ending sound. Your child will also continue exploring a picture dictionary to learn more about their new vocabulary words. 4 20.4 Letter Vv Your learner is becoming more independent with the skills they are learning this week. Spend extra time making predictions and writing to respond to a story. If your learner is ready for more writing activities, they can write their prediction in the Writing Notebook rather than telling it to you.
