Module 4: World Globe- Social Studies 1A - Course Guide
Module Overview:
In this module, students will describe the differences in climate in various parts of the world, compare the amount of land and water on different parts of the globe, compare hot and cold climates on different parts of the globe, locate on a globe where they live, and draw a simple representation of a globe. Students will create a map of an area with physical characteristics and create a diorama of the same area they made the map for. Students will determine the advantages and disadvantages of living where their live and how they change over time, distinguish between absolute and relative location and describe what types of clothing to wear in different locations.

Module Guiding Questions:
