28.1 Sh Digraph | Students will learn another digraph this week. Encourage your learner to make a connection between the sh digraph and the sound made when asking someone to be quiet. This digraph will be reinforced with the beginning sounds in a new Word of the Week and new vocabulary words.
28.2 Sh Digraph | If your learner struggles to blend the segmented sounds in a word, have them use the colored squares to provide a visual for the skill.
28.3 Sh Digraph | The interactive activities in the lesson will provide you with an understanding of how well your learner is mastering the skills this week. If you notice your learner struggling with a particular skill, use the interactive to practice that skill again. If needed, you can have your child return to a previous lesson to review that skill.
28.4 Sh Digraph | Use the interactive activities to ensure your learner’s mastery today. If your child struggles reading the Words of the Week or spelling the spelling words, repeat the activities with them. To play with language today, your learner will practice identifying the middle sound in words. If your child struggles to identify the middle sound with finger-stretching, use the colored squares to provide a visual representation of the sound.
28.5 Sh Digraph | Your learner will have a short review video before demonstrating their understanding of the concepts and skills learned this week. Guide your learner through this lesson, but refrain from providing answers. Your child’s teacher will use this lesson to understand how well your child is learning.
