Module Overview:

In this module students will create a map showing the different regions and Native American tribes, compare and contrast the economic activities of different tribes based on location, match Native American settlements with physical environments and adaptations, describe Native American belief systems and practices, and be able to give details of one famous Native American and their contributions.

  2. Name 1 column Region, the 2nd column Resources, and the 3rd column Lifestyle.
  3. Below the Region column, have your student record the following regions 1 in each row: Northwest Region, California Region, Plateau Region, Great Basin Region, Great Plains Region, Southwest Region, Eastern Woodlands Region, Southeast Region.
  4. As your student watches, the video has them record the resources and lifestyle for the tribes in each region in their chart.
