In this module, students will learn to recognize that Native Americans were the first inhabitants of North America, compare the cultures of Native American tribes from various geographic regions of the United States, and make observations about how the daily life of people living in Colonial America changed over time.

1 The First Americans After completing this lesson, ask your student to explain who Indigenous People and Native Americans are. Ask them to describe what they learned about the different Native American tribes.
2 Native American Culture After completing this lesson, ask your student to compare and contrast the different Native American tribes they learned about. Help them look up which Native American tribes live in their area and learn more about their culture.
3 Colonial America After completing this lesson, ask your student to explain what life in Colonial America was like.
