Module 31: Money-Math 2B - Course Guide


Module Overview:

In this module, students will identify pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters and the value of each. They will count coins to find the total, add the value of different coins and show the same amount of money with different coins. Students will identify a dollar bill and its value. They will use the $ and ¢ symbols appropriately, apply the strategy for skip counting to find the total value of coins, and apply the strategy for counting up to find the total value of coins. Students will calculate coin combinations and solve money problems to make change.
