  • As your student reads “Come Down Here,” ask them the following questions: What did the boy see for the squirrel? What did the squirrel see for the boy? What did the boy see for the girl? Draw a picture of your favorite part.
  • While your student is practicing writing the letter Nn have them say out loud the letter and the sound it makes each time they write the letter.

  • On page 2 of this lesson, it mentions an Independent Reading Quiz. This only applies to students who are enrolled in a school that uses an Independent Reading program online where they take a quiz on the book they chose to practice for the week. If your school does not have this program and your student is reading books on their own, then this would be the time to fill out their Independent Reading Log and answer the questions. The Independent Reading Log can be found in the Resources Module, In the "What is the Independent Reading Program?" Activity on page 3. Have your student complete their independent reading log and submit it at the Independent Reading Assignment lesson dropbox. You may have to help them fill it out. They can record themselves reading their Independent Reading Book by clicking on the record option in their dropbox if they are directed to do so in the assignment.
  • Remember to have your student submit their work for the week in the Module 6 Weekly Written Work Letter Nn lesson dropbox.
