Module Overview:

In this module, students will learn to explain how a seed grows into a plant, identify and describe the basic needs of all plants, explain how the Sun is necessary for life on Earth, identify different types of plants, and differentiate between basic needs and individual needs.

Take some time to apply what your student is learning to the real world. Suggested outings are below.

1 If possible, take your student to a local plant nursery so they can look at the different types of plants. Have them read the labels for different plants to assess the needs of each plant.
