Learning Coach Notes:

Lesson # Lesson Title Notes
1 29.1 Ch Digraph As your learner practices the new digraph ch, provide the hint that the ch digraph makes the /ch/ sound like a choo-choo train, or the sound a sneeze makes: achoo!
2 29.2 Ch Digraph Remind your learner of the /ch/ sound when listening for the digraph. Use the video to practice the correct mouth formation and check your learner’s pronunciation to ensure accuracy.
3 29.3 Ch Digraph Extend today’s learning by asking your learner to think of words that begin with the /ch/ sound. Ask your learner to say open or closed syllable words. When your child thinks of these words independently, it deepens their understanding and learning of the skills and topics.
4 29.4 Ch Digraph Spend extra time practicing spelling words today so that your learner is ready for the spelling test tomorrow. You can enhance your child’s understanding of shades of meaning verbs by acting out the words with your child.

Guide your learner through this lesson, but refrain from providing answers. Your child’s teacher will use this lesson to understand how well your child is learning.
