Module Overview:

In this module students will identify patriotic landmarks in their state, their state flag and its symbols, sing their state's song, identify 3 important state documents, and recite their state's pledge.

  1. Be able to sing their state's song. *Note: New Jersey does not have a state song, so students from New Jersey can choose to learn "The Star Spangled Banner" or any other state song.
4 State Documents
  1. Identify three important state documents.
5 State Pledges
  1. Recite their state's pledge. Note: Not all states have a state pledge. Students living in a state without one can choose another state's pledge to learn.
