Module 1: Following Rules and The Constitution- Social Studies 2 - Course Guide
Module Overview:
In this module, students will learn to identify the classroom and school rules that apply to them, develop a logical argument for the purpose of rules and the consequences when rules are and are not followed, both in the virtual classroom and at school, and explain why rules are written. They will identify the Constitution of the United States as the supreme written law of the land, and explain how the United States makes laws, carries out laws, determines whether laws have been violated, and punishes lawbreakers. Students will investigate the powers and limits of the Constitution.
