Module Overview:

In this module, students will learn to recognize the role of government in creating laws and providing transportation, education, structure, and safety. They will name their mayor, governor, and president, match roles to specific leaders, and Recognize that voters need to communicate with elected officials. Students will define taxes and connect government services to the need to collect taxes.
