Module Overview:

In this module, students will continue caring for a plant, start a summer house with sunflowers, and read the story "The Pond Ritual." They will learn about frogs and the pond habitat and identify the parts of a frog’s life cycle. Students will learn about how human activities affect the environment.

1 Frogs and Ponds In their Science Notebook, have your student draw pictures of the Frog Life Cycle, help them label it if needed.
2 Humans and the Environment In their Science Notebook, have your student draw and write about how humans impact their environment and things they can do to keep their environment clean.

Take time to read to your student or have them read aloud to you. Read a different book each day. While reading the book point out concepts being taught. You may purchase these books or find them at your local library. Suggested things to discuss while reading the book:
