Module Overview:

In this module, students will observe thunder and lightning and calculate lightning distance. They will observe animals as they react to changes in the weather and illustrate how animals prepare for the winter months.

1 Thunder and Lightning Ask your student to describe what they learned about thunder and lightning in this lesson.
2 Animals and Weather Change Have your student observe animals in their neighborhood and record the behaviors they observe in their Science notebook. They may draw pictures or write their observations. On rainy days have them look out the window for animal activity. Is it more active or less active?
