Module Overview:

In this module, students will learn to describe the characteristics of living things, differentiate between biotic and abiotic, describe the basic needs of all living things, and apply an understanding of basic needs to determine the specific needs of various living things. They will explain why the Sun is necessary for life on Earth, and investigate what happens if a plant does not have sunlight.
